To students who are taking the Internal Medicine final exam. It has been scheduled for July 16, 2010 at 8.30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall A on the fifth floor of PSK4 Hospital. All students have to have their Internal Medicine cards with signatures from all the departments. This is also to let you know that the first retake for the Internal Medicine exam will be scheduled for early September.

Important info for all students of English Division
If you want to be exempted from classes in academic year 2010/2011, you must submit petition to Dean's Office till June 14, 2010. This includes courses from fall semester and spring semester of next academic year. All petitions submitted after the deadline will be denied.

This is to inform all the students of the English Language Division that requests for any documents issued by the Dean's Office must be submitted by email or in the form of written request given to the Dean's Office employee. The documents will be issued to you within five business days afterwards.

We remind you, that you are obliged to pay for your second retake and commission exam before entering the exam!! You can make the payment at the Deans Office every day between 10.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. in room 18.

Everybody who hasn't submit sociology esseys have time until the end of August- it will be treated like Ist and final retake! If You don't do that You will Have to repeat whole course.(From academic year 2009/2010 sociology department change the rules of the course, there will be 30 hours and final exam!)

Information for II.4 and IV.6 American students
Students leaving Poland after completion of Basic Sciences should have at least 2 recommendation letters from teachers.
Students who intend to take their USMLE Step 1 exam should fill out an online application (to be found on the website: http://www.ecfmg.org/) and bring to the Dean's Office a signature page (signed with a photo attached). This form will only be signed by the Dean if a student passes all the Basic Science courses.
The following documents are to be signed by each student leaving Poland after completion of BSc:
- Exit Interview - for loan takers,
- Summerclerkship letter and requirements - to be picked up in the Dean's Office
Additionaly, students who wish to leave Poland cannot have any outstanding payments towards the University or Hope Medical Institute (including late fees). Information on that can be received from Aga Mizgier (tel.

TO ALL ENGLISH DIVISION STUDENTS who doesn't have a proof of hepatitis "B" vaccination
Everyone must provide proof of vaccination till end of April.
Students can be vaccined on their own OR in:

English speaking doctor Zbigniew £astowski will give qualifying examination (vaccination shots can be given after positive examination result).
Possible doctor's appointment hours are:
MONDAY 9 am - 12 pm and 6 pm - 8 pm
WEDNESDAY 9 am - 12 pm
FRIDAY 9 am - 12 pm
Other days and hours (including Saturdays) can be set only for organized groups (about 20 students).
Cost of examination is 40,00 zl
Cost of vaccination is 53,00 zl per shot
Students who will decide to take vaccination in TOP MEDICAL Health Center should come to the Deans Office to set a date and make a payment.
Students who will not provide us proof of vaccination (at least first shot) until the end of April
WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE STUDIES at Medical University of Lublin.
